Brass Stamping:

The artisans who work with this craft are called Luhars. They use iron nails, which have a motif engrave on them, be it a simple circle, or paisley. Using a hammer and these iron nails, the artisans stamp intricate designs on the base metal. Brass is the most common material that they work with, but also use copper when needed.

Aside from the hand stamping, the other aspect which sets them apart, is the fact that they do not solder pieces together. No form of heat is used to make these products. The artisans use rivets or hinges to join the pieces together.
